Dr. Issa was raised in Miami where he attended Middle School and High School. He went on to receive a minor in Chemistry with a Bachelor in Biological Science from Florida State University.
He then received his Medical Degree from Ross University School of Medicine. Dr. Issa did a one year internship in Family Practice at Prince George’s Hospital in Maryland and went on to do a three year residency in Internal Medicine at Crozer Chester Hospital affiliated with Temple University in Philadelphia.
Dr. Issa specializes in treating diabetes, hypertension, rheumatoid arthritis, and pain management. He’s one of the few physicians in Hollywood, Florida recommended by the Steven Johnson Syndrome Foundation to treat the syndrome.
For the past five years, he has been actively involved in clinical research and also does charity work with orphans in Nicaragua.
